Through knowledge of students and proven practices, the teacher ensures high levels of learning, social-emotional development and achievement for all students.
I have included an inter-disciplinarily differentiated lesson slideshow for 8th grade about Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. This was created in my Intro to Sped class with a fellow student. Students are plotting numerical data on a graph and identifying trends. The lesson begins with a video on YouTube about Slavery. The next is using both prior knowledge and knowledge of the video students would answer questions of the importance to early American economics, what they think about this information, how they feel, and any question they have. Then students will go over instructions and begin activity. The lesson ends with a review of the activity and an exit ticket. Attached below is the slides and project packet for students with the graphs.
