I have included students work who stand out in class. These students either demonstrated mastery or shown a desire to learn the material. I have more examples of students work on my lesson plan tab (Pre-AP & Advanced).
Pre-AP
This student has always shown a desire to learn the material. The student also shows they understand the parts of a circle by identifying the radius and diameter. Their work shows they know how to calculate the circumference based on the given information.

This student understands the parts of a circle by identifying the radius and diameter. Their work demonstrates master on calculating the circumference based on the given information. The student understands how to get the diameter from the radius based on their work.
|
Advanced
This student strives to learn the material. This student works with a partner to collaborate and ask the teacher for additional support. This student demonstrates a level of understanding to compute the slope formula given a table or graph.
This student strove to learn the material. This student worked on this assignment for two class periods to make sure she got the correct work. This student participated during class to ask questions and to check their understanding.
This student wanted to succeed on this assignment. The student stayed for tutorials asking for help. The student received guided practice and individual practice on the rest. The student was able to identify patterns such as what happens when the x value changes to a negative.

This student demonstrates an understanding of using the slope formula. The student identifies (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) on the table or graph. The student knows the word "change" implies subtraction. The student understands that the y-values go over the x-values.
This student demonstrated a mastery of the Pythagorean theorem. The student knows how to calculate for the hypothenuse or a missing side length. This student created their own problems on the board to calculate with their newfound knowledge.
